Dear you!

Dear You,
In life sometimes, everything will not go the way you planned. You may not get that much coveted promotion, even though you deserved it completely.
Someone you trusted with your life may let you down.
Someone you love(d) with all your heart may walk away.
You may lose a loved one.
Worse - you may lose yourself.

It is okay to mourn when this happens. It is okay to feel sad. It is okay to retreat into your shell when life gives you a beating.

But it is not okay to stay there for longer than is necessary.
It is important to come out and fight.
It is important to live well. Do things that bring you joy.

Life is indeed short, very short.
Whatever did not work out, 'accept it'. This was just the way it was meant to be.
You will see this for yourself, may be two years from now. I know. I speak from experience. I have wept but then I have also fought and emerged stronger today, because of it.

Every bad experience makes you grow, teaches you something.
Keep your heart and mind open.
Love.
Express yourself.
Dance.
Listen to music.
Do what makes you happy.
Grow!

Things changed.

Change happens, when you see yourself and the things differently.

Well people change because of scenarios, situations, for others etc. But I did it only for My-self. ONLY FOR ME.

While I was in Carmel, Where I had spent 11 years, and the strange thing was I couldn't discover my-self. I had to go through a lot of difficulties. Like false friends, people talking, annoying teachers (yes, some were ;-)) and I mean it. The principal Sr Supreeka , How can I forget her name? Well, she and few teachers were real night-mares for me. Though, I had no such problems with them. Anyhow, they didn't try to understand me.

Which should not be excavated!

After I Step-ed in DPS, for my 11th and 12th, I found everything different. Surrounding.  People. Teachers. Students (Some old Shits were still there.) which hardly matters now. Gradually days, weeks, months and finally a year passed by and, I Have totally molded into something which I was not, a few months ago. Even I get surprised when I look at my-self today. I feel happy and satisfied.  This feeling cannot be expressed in words or in my blogs. You too have to feel it. You have to understand it. You have to see the change. While all my friends took Science, I did something bit different, I took Humanities (Arts) and I loved it. There were people still commenting like “you could have taken science “Why Arts?
Well, I want to answer their queries today and say that, I took it because I can move towards something different and progress. No one can be as intelligent as Albert Einstein .So you should not try it to do. Be your-self and the world is all yours.

I had my personal reasons and I m proud of my decisions I had taken a year ago.
If people don’t know the importance of ARTS! Google it, buddies! Check! And tell the world that you can reach to the top-most position “WITHOUT” Taking Science.
Read the books, our subjects (humanities), Political science. History.English,Economics – See the flow , see what happened during the wars. Explore, how our constitution really works? What is real politics? Who are the real politicians? Such suspense should not be kept within!  And what’s there in Physics, Chemistry and math’s? Jabbering Formulas? Solving Puzzles? HA HA! Well, May be it’s good but, it’s of No-use in your later future after you pass class 12th or get into an Engineering institutions!
I have seen people, not knowing the ABC OF Math’s yet they are proud to call them-selves as science students. Especially if you are a resident of a place like Rourkela and you‘re not a Science geek, then you stand no-where. (People’s thinking) Which should be changed! Isn't it?

HA-HA! That’s why Orissa is known as a backward country. Land outside Odisha and you find Students talking commerce, Humanities in large and few science geeks. If you say he or she is an IIT’an OR NIT’ an to Rourkela’s people, they will think you are not less than a GOD! How funny people can prove themselves to be! And it happens only In ODISHA.
Again I pit a stress-Go outside and they don’t bother what you are!
DU (Delhi university), Presidency university (Kolkata), St’Xaviers (Mumbai and Kolkata) etc has a different charm, they not you give you education but transform into something which is beyond imaginations. Same way cut-offs going above 90% in such Universities and only High ranked students getting there. Reading in such universities is like a dream come true. I wish I get in there! Although, working hard is a main focus that steps in here. No matter whatever happens- I have to show some! I have to prove my-self to this damn world.
Therefore, science is not everything!

MOVE FORWARD. MAKE ODISHA PROUD. CHANGE YOUR THINKING! And we all will grow the best among all the states.

Priyanka Dash ,
A Happy Blogger.

Respect your-own-self.

This is what My Life taught me. cherish your-Own Self ! And Today , I can Cheerfully say that I'am a Happy going person. Apart, From all the tensions, worries ,fears. !
Treasure your -own self. And I belief Nothing but only My-self !

So, Here it is !
Have a read. Think a bit.

Remember, you are not here to please everyone. Understand that people are selfish, so are you. Everyone has a selfish motive and that's the human nature. But what all you have to distinguish between is- catering to your own interest and jeopardizing other's interests in the same.
Everyone has to move on, not always things remain the same. But cribbing about it is not the solution. Growing up includes getting hurt and realizing your own true self. That's the basic attribute of becoming more mature.
People come and they go. What you should be concerned about is- Do they really matter to you? If they do, make sure that you take it as your responsibility to maintain few but strong relations.
Yes, you'll be bitched about by people. Stay ignorant. People who talk behind your back deserve the same place- behind you.
Happiness can't be purchased, but money can definitely bring financial security, and in this insecure world, that's more or the same thing. So never ignore the value or power of money.
Life's short. Don't waste time in judging people. You are here to live your own life. When you'll spend it in hating others, you won't be able to love yourself.

In life I've learnt there's nobody who is perfect. You can't be. You can’t expect somebody else to be.
You don't need a big group of friends to make you feel good. Sometimes only one can make u feel even better than those 10.
Sometimes even your cat/dog can be a good listener. (As long as they're not hungry: P)
Sometimes even your best friend may not be able to help you. So remember, in life you have got to be independent. You have got to be strong.
When, life gets   bad. Smile because it’s a sign that it’s going get better.
Don't be afraid of being judged.
Don't be afraid of being yourself.
Laugh. Be silly.
Do what makes you happy...
And, always, ALWAYS respect yourself. :-D :-D
Cheer To Oneself.

Chetan Bhagat- An inspiration!

Everyone says- Do what you LOVE to do !
Forget what other emphasize and try to put it in you.
Remember you have to deal with all the situations YOURSELF.Others are there only to give "Advises" ! (Which doesn't lasts for a LONG TIME)
Happily enjoy the Critics. At least for ME - Criticism makes me more stronger day by day! Enables and helps to improve myself and my qualities. Giving up my bad qualities.

One Of my Inspirations Chetan Bhagat says-
LOVE YOURSELF ! Keep loving everything that you owe.
#-This quote by Mr Bhagat gives me more Afflatus, Spark and Revelation !

CHEERS !
Chetan Bhagat - A god.Motivation.Insipration.The person who made me LOVE Books !
And gave me a passion to write !

TIME? Never waits.

Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day.
Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course?
Each of us has such a bank. It's name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.
Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose.
It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day.
If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against "tomorrow."
You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success!
The clock is running!! Make the most of today.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who just missed a train.

To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask someone who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal at the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with. And remember time waits for no one.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it’s called the “PRESENT.

Cherish Every moment you live. Who Knows?
It may be you last ! ;-) :-)

Temporary To-do.

Easy Going Life.

I personally always content that nothing can be more concealing than one’s to-do list. The lists serve as a specific pane into knowing who we actually are. They celebrate the world of the overlooked and the mundane. The ordinary and the unique.

And yes, At least for me they make more me discipline and particular in things.
J
My  TO-DO List !

So, here’s my little to-do list. Or rather,  my Top things that I m going to do in 2013 and in the coming years. (Hopefully):-P:-P

1. Make my books and my pen my BEST- EST Friend.

2. Be particular in all the things I do, and keep  my things safely.
{Yes, I m going to put a stress on this point}

3.  Continue my addiction over several novels.
(No matter how many scolding’s I get because of this)

4. Watch a classic unique dance.

5. Go hitch-hiking and do something about my Wanderlusts.

6. Improve my average Photoshop Skills.

7. Learn to be a good listener rather than talking 24*7. :P :P

8. Write more often. Update My Blog * The Journey Of My Life* MORE AND MORE!

9. Focus and stay firm to my Delhi University destination.
(Yes, STUDY, STUDY AND STUDY) I will do it J I WILL! And ,I m doing it J

10. Continue My Oddisi dance and learn it with full determination.
11. Respect everyone. No matter, how rich or poor they are.
12. Keep a MAIN AIM In everything I do.
13. Learn from my failures. As, I have been doing it earlier.
14. Be HAPPY EVERY TIME. Life is too short to be anything but happy! :-)
And animate everyday as a Happy –going day.
15. Learn to play drums and guitar.

16. Sleep under the stars. - Most people never dream of spending a night under the stars. We book holidays that are spent in a cozy hotel looking up at a blank ceiling. For a change and at least once, I want to replace that ceiling with a display that can't be matched anywhere. I want to fall asleep watching the myriad of jewels above my head.

Someday, yes.

17. To remember that the glass is half full, and not half empty – This is something I want to keep working at. To many people being happy means a lot of things. To me happiness is to wake up to a beautiful morning and be in the company of my loved ones. To make travel plans. To see the look on a child’s face. Food makes me happy too.

What does your to-do list look like?
